Ignore protection code altered - I think Zoid, along with the rest of mini-mods, should now be duly possible to ignore. Anyone who is considered a staff member, including junior staff members, can not be added to ignore lists.
I appreciate what you're trying to do, and I agree that this course of action would suffice - despite my not being clear on the distinction between who's a junior staff member and who's a "mini-mod".
There's just one problem left now - it doesn't work. Try as a test to put Zoid on ignore, and see if you don't get the same message that I referenced in the OP.
I'd hate for this matter to remain open and public for too long, but we need to get it to work before we can put it to rest, I'm sure you'll agree.

It is really odd that the mods are allowing this not-so-subtle personal attack thread to remain open.
That's solely because you misperceive it as such, Tacc.
Besides, why do you keep chipping in on this matter? You've clearly added nothing but spite to the thread, a quality which I think everyone can do nicely without.
It works as long as you're editing your ignore list through the Control Panel. You were probably attempting to ignore Zoid from the link in his profile, that indeed doesn't work. There's a chance I'll fix that, too, but a slight one .

Is there something in this thread that couldn't have been said in a PM, or with the name taken out? Or is it the case that you wanted everyone to see who you were ignoring?
Really? I've always edited my list (buddy) through the control panel and not profiles. Maybe I'm the odd one, though.
And Tass - do chill. In fact, the thread did have to say what it says. If Winston said he can't ignore "somebody", it would be problematic for me to try and fix the issue. So in this situation, the name has to be mentioned...

I may be the odd one, not you. This marks one of the very few instances where I've attempted to use the ignore function, so I found it more intuitive to go through the poster's profile.
The absolute most practical way would of course be to have a direct ignore link embedded in all posts, but I suppose that's too much to hope for.
