Ok, so we've identified the reason. Thanks for looking into the matter, Solver.

However, there still needs to be some action taken - or a decision made. One way or the other. I still can't add him to the ignore list. (To calm down Tacc, who seems to be awfully worried about all of this, I'm not sure I want to put Zoid on ignore right at this moment. But I tried it, and I get the same message as indicated in the OP).

On a more general note, is it reasonable not to be able to ignore everyone in the OT, except of course the admins/owners and the OT mods? I don't think so. It ought to be so that in the OT, the only people you could not ignore were Dan, Locutus, Drogue, Ming & rah - and possibly the Technical Directors/Assistants. No reason for not being able to block out posters who hold moderator positions in other fora unconnected to the OT.

I'd like to hear what the 4 admins have to say to this.

Well, you're exaggerating with your "everyone in the OT" comment. The vast majority of posters are not mods or mini-mods.

However, the original idea was that senior staff can not be ignored (the owners, Markos, Drogue, myself, etc.) Including the demogame minimods and such wasn't really the intention. So, I'll see if I can remove the protection from minimods. No promises, though.

Thanks for looking into this Solver. But if it can't be done, no great loss. I can see Winston's point when it comes to minimods... but if it's a real staff person, no matter how lowly, you shouldn't be able to put them on your ignore list

Ignore protection code altered - I think Zoid, along with the rest of mini-mods, should now be duly possible to ignore. Anyone who is considered a staff member, including junior staff members, can not be added to ignore lists.
