Dear Nikolai,
during Ramadan, muslims can only eat, drink, smoke, have sex etc after nightfall. According to muslim legislation, nightfall begings when you are no longer able to distinguish a white thread from a black one held in your hand.
Yet, I don;t know as well what it has to do with this thread.

It always worked (or at least in the past 3 years or so, my memory doesn't go back much further). What doesn't work is searching the archives -- and that was a big problem in the past since anything pre-2005 is archived (in the OT anyway). It's still a problem now if you want to search very old threads of course, but for the OT that's a relatively rare occurence.Comment
