I have to say, though, at high resolution, I think the 8th looks rather nice. But the colours are a bit off or something. That makes it look fairly horrible at smaller sizes, along with the fact that it becomes unreadable.

Sorry to say this, but I needs a lot more fixing than just some anti-aliasing.

The 5 years logo makes me want to play Civ2 again.

Well, basically, I would click on "File" in menu bar, then select "New", and proceed from there.

relying on the bright colors of the letter 8 i'd say markos has gotten the idea of Web 2.0 styling completely wrong
