I'm thankfully not getting reports from the OTF, which I guess is the most report-intensive area, but the occasional duplicate doesn't really bother me. On the contrary, if several people report a post they think is offensive, that's a good indication that it probably needs to be dealt with.Solver, WePlayCiv Co-Administrator

Why would you report threads to a moderator
If you don't like a post get a job and move on, someone will catch it eventually if it is so bad
People on power trips or who are easily offended should just go ahead and be shot

You have obviously never seen a thread started by a spambot (an advertisement something along the lines of "Get a free Ipod by clicking this link" ).
These threads arn't started by a member of Apolyton, but by a computer, and they don't contain any information that could be argued for or against, they are just useless clutter and should be reported.
I would suggest that in the future you understand the issue before you post an inflammatory opinion on it.
