Civ1 as i'm old, and before that 'kingdom something' on an 8bit - as much as civ1 anyway.

I think it's Civ2, but it could very well be Civ1 too. I think I played Civ1 for about 3 years straight until I got Civ2. I think I only played Civ2 intensively for a year, or maybe two. But my Civ2 activity graph has a rather longer tail. It's been a while since I played Civ2 now though.

I tried Civ1 again a few times, but it's just aged too much for me now, since Civ2. Civ2 hasn't aged yet. Though maybe that's just because I never played CtP, SMAC, Civ3 or Civ4 (okay, well, I did play the first 3 of those, but I can count that in hours, not years).

Excuse me... CTP not a civ game?

You have to create city's, build roads, railroads, mines, farms ect ect (public works system), your city's can build units that can build a new city, you can use diplomacy with your nabours, fight wars, build army's, build a navy, work your way up to the tech tree, build world wonders (and recieve nice things from it) If CTP is not a civ game, I don't know what is actualy

It's just a crazy bastardization of a Civ game.

Civ. Civ 2 to me is a boring extension of the original. Alpha Centauri comes second, but by then I had less free time.

I voted for Civ4. Considering that Civ4 is on the list, but because it's only a few months since release it has no chance of being the most played game (except from people who've never played Civ before), so I decided to read the question as which Civ game will you have played the most hours, after being "done" with them, and from what I see, Civ 4 will last a long time, more than Civ2, which is otherwise the Civ game I've spent most time with...

Civ3 by far. Only because I would play on the largest maps with nearly every victory condition disabled except for conquest.

                      Old Civ 3 Screen Shots

In those screen shots I had over 1,000 units. For some reason I don't see that happening in Civ4 for me.

                        Civ 1, by far.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

                            Civ I.
I remember to watch the clock and ¡Oh, my God, 5 in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!

One or two times with 2 and the same with 3.

And 2 times with Civ 4. I'm afraid to became an addict again.

(And Civ 4 was a crap for me for a few weeks )
