CF OT is of lesser quality than Apolyton. By terms of quality I mean that it has a lot of radical conservatives there, at least radical by Apolyton standards. There are actually people there that are full-blown Young Earth Creationists, as well as people who are homophobic in all senses of the word.
Of course, Apolyton is well known to be a liberal paradise, anyway.

CFC's Civ3 and Civ4 coverage were way better than Apolyton. The last time Poly was number one was when CtP was released. THeir forums suck though.Originally posted by Nikolai

I've seen with my site that the numbers fluxuate wildly. So that no doubt is a flaw with the Alexa rankings. Though I imagine with larger sites, they flatten out over time and you can get a more accurate sample than smaller pages.Captain of Team Apolyton - ISDG 2012

Alexa ratings are just one source that we use to evaluate sites for advertising. It has it's problems. However, I had one of my minions take a look using the services we pay for... and generally overall, CFC usually enjoys more traffic than Apolyton. But it's really all about quality, not quanity

That's because they delete old posts from the database- I lost over 150 posts there because they 'cleaned old posts' It upset me greatly ...'Poly is clearly better as there are more people with more than 10K posts. Civfan is great for a quick snack, but 'Poly is the 3 course feast.-->Visit CGN!
