Why doesnt my Apolyton "buddy list" work?

My very good Civer friend and I (Metra) have played quite a few PBEMs together and we would like to put each other on our Buddy lists, and he put my name on his, and I put his name on mine, yet it still says that we have no buddies.

Is the buddy list for only upper-echelon members? Or are we doing something wrong?

Not only does it not show up on the control panel, but it also doesnt show up when I check my or his profile either...

I've just looked at my buddy list, and discovered that Broken Erica has made her way onto my buddy list without my knowing. Now that is weird......

You mean the buddy list in your profile? That's the list of people who have you as their buddy. The people you have as your buddy are in your control panel.

Oh, maybe she was drunk then. Either way, I don't remember this.

Maybe she's seen my photo in the London meet thread! (now somewhere in the OT Archive) On second thoughts, she definitely hasn't. Plus, she's only 17 (according to her profile) - not my thang at all.
