do you have any kind of 2500-years-old building still standing?

The point is, your buildings aren't standing. And those who did, was blown apart by the Turks and their gun powder, right?Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.-Isaiah 41:10

Dunno, it's where the school wants to send us obviously. I have been in Athens once earlier though, during Christmas 1999.Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.-Isaiah 41:10

I found most Egyptian ruins to be much better preserved and much more impressive than anything I've seen in Greece. Still very nice to visit Greek monuments of course, but not nearly as spectacular or impressive as they're made out to be, at least in their present state.

Damn, I think I missed the temple... can only remember the Temple of Zeus, but I have bad memories of that day anyway because I was pissed with my girl...
Anyway the nicest place in Greece certainly was Kayafa... a great lonely beach, reachable directly by train (on the western coast of Peleponnes)... well it was "lonely" but there were no hotels in sight so
We spent 4 real cool days there, before returning to Patras, with the ship back to Ancona and home
