The point is, your buildings aren't standing. And those who did, was blown apart by the Turks and their gun powder, right?

          Yeah, to some degree...

In case you missed it, your country has some beautiful architecture and nature. I certainly look forward to my and my school's trip to Tolon and it's sorroundings in late April/early May.

indeed! the temple of Hephaistos was spectacular, you cant really comprehend the magnitude of the buildings unless you visit them. although i had the time, i saved acropolis for another visit....

            What's in Tolon?

Dunno, it's where the school wants to send us obviously. I have been in Athens once earlier though, during Christmas 1999.

                Replica

Don't recognize that one, is that the Temple of Hephaestus? If so, that's original, but it's in a pretty piss-poor state.

If that's in Athens it's a replica. Don't think it is though.

You're not used to much then, I found it rather disappointing. Now the Temple of Zeus, *that* would've been impressive, if it was still standing...

I found most Egyptian ruins to be much better preserved and much more impressive than anything I've seen in Greece. Still very nice to visit Greek monuments of course, but not nearly as spectacular or impressive as they're made out to be, at least in their present state.

Damn, I think I missed the temple... can only remember the Temple of Zeus, but I have bad memories of that day anyway because I was pissed with my girl...
Anyway the nicest place in Greece certainly was Kayafa... a great lonely beach, reachable directly by train (on the western coast of Peleponnes)... well it was "lonely" but there were no hotels in sight so
We spent 4 real cool days there, before returning to Patras, with the ship back to Ancona and home

Temple of Zeus, does it work the same as the statue? If it does Markos could use the free ancient cavalry awarded every five turns and annex FYROM
