As a slight aside, it's a shame that the 'weekly feature' only comes out once a year I remember back in the good-old-days when lots of people contributed a varied and interesting range of articles. I'd revive my half-completed article if the topic (Civ2 PBEM games) hadn't gone totally out of fashion 12 months ago

Great coloumn. I still think that apolyton's scope should be somewhat expanded. We're all gamers here, and we all play all sorts of games. A slight expansion of our horizons will benefit all, and will probably make the site and forum a refreshing break in a sea of dull idiocy which is the general gaming forums scene.
