It'll be a good thing if the topped-threads would be better organised, and multiple threads about the same topic (old news posters) can be merged / removed.

I don't know if Locotus wants to be a moderator, but I think everybody on the cIV forum would agree.
If he wants to, I'm all for it. However, if the owners have a better idea, what is my agreement worth...

For what it´s worth I also support Locutus. He´s done a hell of a job that forum already

And I thought it was a requirement to not want to be a mod to be considered?

I think it would be a good idea to get the cIV section of this site running.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

Well, in case the site owners condescend to an unheard-of display of democracy, I'll add my Locutus .

                  FYI:

One, possibly two, moderators for the "Civilization IV" forum set will be announced and 'installed' by this time next week. Hopefully, a moderator for the "GalCiv2" forum set will be appointed at the same time.

Update on the "Civ4" forum set moderatorship:

Locutus has accepted the moderatorship position. Solver also applied for and has been accepted in this capacity too. As a result, they are now co-moderators for the "Civ4" discussion boards here.

                    Congratulations, Locutus and Solver!

Wow, thanks for all the support guys I can only hope I will live up to the high regard in which everyone seems to hold me...

I think it would be a good idea to get the cIV section of this site running.

You're estimates regarding Civ4's release tend to be off by quite a bit For once I'm inclined to agree though But I know Dan and Markos are doing what they can and will create the section as soon as they have the opportunity... and will do it at the level of quality that we are used to from them. Some things are worth waiting for

But keep in mind that I was the first to report the semi-official november date

I'm sure Markos and Dan are doing the best they can, but perhaps someone else should do the best he can
