Its been a long time since my last installment. We have survived several coup’s, an election, an upstart fellow civilization website I also tried to help and am glad is still moving along under its own power, despite childish attacks, petty problems the site has moved on.
Poly itself saw a major restructure, with Dan, Ming, rah and Locutus moving on. For what it is worth, I am sorry things didn’t work out, but well wishes to all.

A member and his friend took over and again, will try to take what the wheel is and refine it. Good luck Robert and Jerome!

Me, I have been working through adapting to life as I am hitting four years since my auto accident. My spine is a remnant of what was and hand is well, surviving. I am down to one hand typing but am alive.

I see Call To Power hanging tough and a new looker, Civilization 5 on the horizon, will she put a smile on our faces or will she be another abomination as CIV III was and is? Time will tell us all if this is the one.

I see the same shark infested waters dominate the OT and that has its place I reckon. Not a major issue for me. What is a major issue for me is being a better person. When on heavy meds I did occasionally deride many folks wrongly. I hope to be a better person, not perhaps ever to win love and affection, but perhaps for those I hurt, they may one day say yeah he was wrong, how would I have prevailed under similar circumstances, perhaps I then shall have at the very least an opportunity to redeem my future under a clouded past, this is my hope and intent.

I have now four beautiful young grandchildren who know that I love them, I am a goofy papa and I make them laugh and look out after their immediate interests. I can but tear up to know what they will soon face as they grow up and the world confront them. For now, we try to prepare them to be good people, to get along and hopefully make a difference.
Professionally, the United States economy is a shambles, bad times are all around and our POTUS is as clueless as many who have gone before him. Self interest abounds and the POTUS wants what every other POTUS first termer wants, a second term. Good luck at our expense.

Today, I take off all whom I had on ignore, because after all, it’s only internet message board postings, no need to go postal on my keyboard over what some says I don’t agree with, simply move onward. Life is short, health is important and family is paramount. No more 8 hours of making moves and post Turn 23 sent” Yay!!! I made my 39,456th post woo hooo!! Who realy cares, I no longer do. I play single player game, have some fun and life goes on.
