It's been damn near 80 days since the SLeague forum was deleted. We were initially promised restoration within days or weeks at most; we've now been waiting months. The threads represented thousands of hours of work on scenarios, advice and graphics which are seemingly lost for good.

Can you please give us a realistic bs-free timeframe for restoring the threads, or an admission that Apolyton's priorities no longer include maintaining the web's best civ2 resource.

For nearly 80 days now we've heard promises and excuses, how about finally seeing some results?

Mark, I understand RL has to take its rightful place too, but it has been nearly 3 month now, and I really need many informations that are in the lost threads (and I know I'm not the only one)!

I have been trying to work around that lack of informations, but now I have reached the limits where I can go no further (in my scenario development, if you're interested in what I need the info for...) without them!

So please, do your best, and give us a realistic schedule!

Even if Civ II is an old product, it's still really alive, as is the damaged forum! It's a place which made me, and many others, discover and enjoy Apolyton, up to the point where I can call it "Home", so please don't kill it!

If I were cynical, I'd think that the loss of the Scenario League forum would help free a lot of space for upcoming civ4 posts....

That'd be paranoid though, wouldn't it?

Okay... so, Markos. What exactly is taking you so long? We're not hearing anything from you. Even the IKEA thing is over a week ago now.

If it's just the usual busy work of having a real life and running Apolyton I guess we can understand that, but that would also mean we can probably wait a long while for this to finally happen.

If it's been unusually busy, when can we more realistically expect it to be restored?

the obvious lack of any news-posting or any kind of announcement of a new feature on this forum by me shows that i hadnt had the idea anything at all around the site these last days. therefore such an idea is simply wrong...

real life is taking much more time now as opposed to a couple of years ago. one could notice that the server move to settler 3 took over a month in contrast to the previous mvoe to settler 2 that last a few days....
