Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?

Adding MSN support is actually of importance. When vB 2.0 was released, there wasn't any .NET Messenger Service by Microsoft. Nobody talked about Messenger. There wasn't any need to add profile IM informartion support for it. But things have since changed. Now it's one of the most popular IM services out there, thanks to Microsoft's strong influence and having it bundled with Windows. It's everywhere, no matter you like it or not, and people use it. The new vB 3.x series has support for it and so do other bulletin board softwares. It's time Poly also gets up-to-date and adds support for it. And not just PLUS members, in order to be equal on this. Also get those missing Y!M postbit and memberlist icons back.

            Please?

to be honest, I don't give a damn about this msn messenger thing... i really don't care if markos is going to add it to the site or not. if i want to chat with a forum member using some IM software, then i'll just PM him/her and ask what is the IM software he/she uses.
I watched you fall. I think I pushed.

You don't care but decided to post in the thread anyway? Cheers.

This thread is for people who do want MSN links.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

See...now you've just turned this into a club thread, something that isn't allowed here on 'poly.

MSN support would be nice, though. Here in my neck of the woods, nobody use any other instant messenger.

                        More like +1ing.

The email issue, surely, is no problem; people who don't want their email displayed don't use the MSN thingy.

I think that everything will remain as it is now.

I actually changed my mind on this subject... I've been using MSN a lot lately and I guess that such a feature would be useful here.

I have never managed to see the 3D image on those.
