  • Running on mine as well. If this project is successful, it could have a major impact on world health. If you haven't signed up for World Community Grid, then this is a most excellent time to do so.

    • I'm somewhat puzzled atm. When that Aids project started my WCG-client swithed to it automatically. Now it seems to have switched back to the human protenome folding. I though that project was finished, whats going on?

      • To do unseasonably cold weather at the moment, I'm able to start running this again.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Proteome Folding is still wrapping up. By default members will participate in both, and you'll be given data from one or the other. On the WCG website you can tell it which projects to participate in if you want to opt-out of one.

Maybe you should look at more direct cooling solutions for your PC.

            • The only cooling solutions I can afford are fans, and Aussie summer weather plus fans means a hot computer, regardless.

Any donations for a liquid-cooling system would be gratefully accepted, though.

Nonsense. Fans are more than capable, just buy good ones.

I bet you are one of those people who has no fans in their case then complains their computer crashes.

                          • Then you should be fine. 2 sucking and 2 blowing (no jokes please) is more than enough if they are decent quality.

                            Plus a decent CPU fan.

                              • Fighting Aids@home is continuing, the first phase is progressing. Human Proteome folding is completed, but they're running other proteome's through the system right now, I think it is some kind of mustard seed or something. new projects begin in january I believe.
