As I noted earlier, "dick" used to be banned, but it was getting silly. I don't see an explosion of people using the word "dick" on the forums in response. It seems to me that c-u-m is the same. The only time I've seen it used is in the phrase "Magna *** laude".
No one is asking that **** or ***** be uncensored.
The mods can always ban people who use dual use words in the offensive manner.

The owners are using the default settings for censored words. I think if somebody really sat down and took the time to go through the list, some of the "sillier" words would no longer be censored. But this does require time, and is not high on the owners LONG priority list. When a word like Dick comes up, they listened and made the quick change.
The key point is, the OWNERS want the censor turned on. That's their right, and people should respect their wishes. People who knowingly get around the censor by playing silly games are showing a total disrespect for the people who have spent a lot of time and effort to build Apolyton into a community where we want to come to. People who repeatedly do it get restricted, but everytime somebody does it, even once, they are really dissing the owners. And you should think about that before they do so
*because technically, we really don't have to warn you, we can just ban you for doing it even once
