You think I would want to have them back for any other reason??
I don't particularly like them, you know.

I meant the non pop-up ads. I can still hover over them, see their source displayed, it's just I can't see the image, and don't hear any annoying jingles.
Please note that most of the advertising running on Apolyton on a day-to-day basis is directly administered by a third-party agency. Morever, there are a few different agencies with whom we've contracted. Yes, they are acting on our behalf but at the same time have been told what types of ads we will and will not accept running on our site in regards to a number of factors. At the same time, we do not individually review every proposed ad campaign for suitability/desirability etc. before its introduction on-site as that is part of the agency's responsibility as per the reasons stated.
We do not solicit nor want ads that carry sound and can assure you that if we are able to determine the source of the ad in question we will petition to have it removed from our rotation immediately. I can tell you that not only did we not pre-approve the ad that has been called into question, we do not approve of it either given its reported characteristics.
To anyone who is still receiving/has received this ad: can you also provide us with the URL (address) that its image points to?
