both opera and firefox save the text you typed in case you press 'back'.
I watched you fall. I think I pushed.

I always press ctrl + a and ctrl + c after finishing a post... even if it's small posts...
I'm doing this automatic now, so I've cought myself many times copying a msg which only contains one word
This space is empty... or is it?

It'd be quicker to retype the word.

Yep... but for some reason it just turned into something done automatic, so it's out of control

I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Thanks. In fact, I DID used ctrl-c, but a few seconds before posting I used ctrl-c for some other URL...

You really felt the need to point something that obvious out to this poor guy?
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

I've never spent three hours writing one post.

That's why if you write real long posts you start in word. I always do that when I wrote my IC stories.

Why copy them at all?? Isn't that why you have a clipboard in the first place?
Usually with LONG post I write them in word first, but yeah, for posts I don't care for ctrl+c is good enough

                              To summarise the discussion:

Long posts - write in word first, possibly even save to disk in case of a power outage (I always do this).
Short posts - Ctrl+c or Ctrl+a (I always do this).
One line posts - don't care.

Now a contest. How did I process this post?

                              1) Word
                              2) Ctrl+c
                              3) Don't care
                              4) Something else (post below)
