  • "My threads" and "submit reply (return to forum)"

When I open a thread from the 'my threads' view,
and I reply and press the "submit reply (return to forum)" button, it doesn't bring me back to the 'my threads' forum but to the forum in which the thread I replied to belongs to.

I can see why that happens, but it's not very handy....

Well it's not a return to 'my threads' feature it's a return to forum one.

Shift+Click on the link to reply in a new browser window. That way "My Threads" will remain open. Or just use the back button a few times, or click on the "my threads" link at the top of every page again... Jeesh, it's not that hard!

Of course there are easy solutions
And life will not end if the 'return to forum' will not 'return to my threads'

But things would be better if it did though

Maybe, but many will feel Mark should spend his finite time on actual problems.

Didn't know that "shift-click" would post in a new window (duh!). I usually just right-click any thread I jump to from My Threads (displaying the thread in a fresh window) so I can reply without losing My Threads.

So do I. I just mention something that doesn't go right imho. I don't claim this is the most important thing Markos should focus on.

Not before Markos declares it's on his low-priority list and it'll be done before 2004 ends

I usually press back three times after a post. The good thing about that compare to open a new window is it automatically refresh when you go back so you get to see the newest post I think.
