  • Petition for Political Party CivGroup Icons

I would like to see small political party icons in the civgroups. People already plaster things like "Communist Party of Apolyton" in their location fields (myself included), don't you think it's time to make little icons that people can choose?

I agree. And we need elections for the poly-parlement every 6 months. Not that the poly-parlement would have any power, but it'll be nice anyway

Democratic elections have everything to do with civilization. How do we want to organise things.

If something is civilized, it's democratic parties

Again, the decision on this is up to the owners. However, based on past similar questions, I would have to agree that Comrade Tassadar has probably predicted the answer

It's a gaming site... not a political site.

And as far as "elections" for political parties not related to games go... I will continue to stop any that I see. Past elections led to much spam and many rules violations... so they will not be allowed.

Now for the traditional line.... this isn't a democracy

We should make a list of the standard admin/mod responses. Then rather than going into a thread and saying "This isn't a democracy" they could just say #3. For "We have carefully reviewed your decision and have taken it very seriously. Unfortunately our answer is no", #7.

Think of all the time they could save!
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Somehow I had a feeling you were going to say that.

Or just include all possibilties in their quotes/sigs, this way they just have to post, but not even need to bother what

Bu the number system is also quite OK, but might make some discussion (too) short:

                    Q: ????????
                    A: #5
                    Q: But.......
                    A: #7
                    Q: What about........

Please, grand lords of Poly, spare me from exposure to even more political propaganda than I already suffer on this site.

Ppl have location and sig lines to advance their personal agendas.
That, IMHO, is more than enough.

I didn't got the intention to give any power to the elected parties. I intended something like the european parlement
