Really? An hour later? You know, I put some effort into keeping Yahoo updated, but when you guys keep changing your picks, it creates extra work and makes it more difficult to be accurate.

Sloww, I'll gladly let you cut MVS loose and replace him with Diggs, but not without a little verbal abuse. This is the 3rd such incident in this draft, and ain't nobody got time that bullshlt. Kthx.

There's nothing to "make right." I told you: Trevon Diggs DB DAL is now yours. I'm trying to be nice, letting you change your pick so you can have the guy you want.

Please don't make it worse by making it my job to pick your team.

We've been through this, Sloww. When you post a pick, that's supposed to be your pick. Period. People see it, maybe add it to their lists or spreadsheets to plan their next picks. The commish might even be updating the league at Yahoo to help everyone know who's available.

So when you wander back after an hour and change your pick, it screws up everyone's planning. It forces me to go back to Yahoo and remove MVS from your team, return him to the Available player pool, then add Trevon Diggs to your team. And it may screw up someone else who just updated their list with info that, an hour later, turns out to be wrong. But hey, as long as no one else picked, no big deal, right? Well, only to a degree.

There's more going on here than "no harm, no foul." Go to the league link at Yahoo and pull up the Players list. Now change the view from "All Available Players" to "All Players" and hit the blue Filter button. You will see all the drafted players assigned to their proper teams. That doesn't happen by magic. But it has to be accurate. Doing it during the draft helps the league know exactly who's left while helping eliminate duplicate picks.

That's why I prefer to use "a card laid is a card played" as my rule of thumb. It would be the technically correct way to do a draft. But we're all friends here, and I frankly don't want fight those battles this year. So I've been letting it slide.

Frankly, it's not a huge deal. But it's annoying AF, and it does have consequences. Hope this somewhat clarifies why people changing their picks is so annoying to me.
