Alyssa Barbieri reported this: “We’re always looking at ways to improve our team,” Pace said on the WBBM Newsradio 780 pregame show. “This time of year there’s so much constant dialogue with all the other teams; it’s constantly ongoing. I think if something presents itself to make us better, we’ll always talk through it as a staff. It’s no different this week. We’ve made several trades this season and our aggressive mindset will be ongoing.” But I don't think they will do anything as well.

      The Bears are truly perplexing.
EDIT: Although, the referee's beat them.

I hate ragging on the officiating, but there were so many blatantly bad calls - seemingly all against the Bears - that it's hard not to go there.

It's not like this team would make the playoffs, so I do try to keep perspective. But that fake penalty for an illegal block frosts me -- especially when the player (Daniels) literally never touched the guy (TJ Watt iirc) because HE MISSED THE BLOCK ENTIRELY. That cost the Bears a clearly-earned TD. Then you've got Big Ben being gifted a "roughing the passer" call when he clearly flops his 265-lb body to the ground over a hit where the defender wasn't even facing him. Meanwhile, there were at least THREE blows to the head of Justin Fields, all resulting in no call. But whenever Pittsburgh failed on 3rd down, a magical late flag would appear to help move them down the field.

Yes, there were a lot of Chicago penalties, but Pittsburgh was holding on both offense and defense all night without consequences, so the disparity is misleading. It got so bad, by the end of the game, even the NFL network announcers were calling it out as "tough to swallow" for the Bears.

Not saying the Bears are the better team, but I can't help but think the fix was in for the Steelers last night.

          I agree. The officials sucked.

I now agree with Ming. Fire Nagy NOW! If it doesn't happen on Monday and they lose to the Lions, then it better be Friday.

Jaguars fire Urban Meyer. This man was a college football legend, with 3 national championships at 2 schools.

I remain amazed at how clearly unprepared he was to be an NFL head coach.

wow Georgia got screwed... they ran a fumble back for a td in the 1st q and it was nullified by the refs on review calling it an inc pass. it was close, could have gone either way

Georgia qb fumbled in 4th q in a similar situation, arm is hit while throwing and ball slips out of grip and is recovered by bama

refs let it stand after review

And yet they STILL kicked the Tide's asses. The Dawgs were a team on a mission, not to be denied.

                        Congrats to Georgia!

                              rutro

upset weekend and my Chiefs are next up against a Buffalo team that beat them badly in KC

I'm glad for the 49ers and Rams even if I picked them to lose

so who will host Cincy? KC was going thru a bad spell when they lost to the Bills earlier but the Bills have been rolling
