    I thought no one would catch Snoop after his first round.

                    Two separate, partially concordant reports on Tuesday indicate that the NHL is in the late stages of finalizing a league expansion in the next few years, with one of them going so far as to claim the NHL will add teams in Las Vegas, Seattle, Quebec City, and a second franchise in Toronto, all by 2017.

                      Are they due for another lockout yet? I keep trying to like hockey but they keep having labor disputes and aren't on tv anymore (except a weekly sunday game after football season and a channel I don't get because I see no reason to pay any amount for hockey).

                      Also ESPN says the NHL says expansion is not imminent.

                        To be fair, NBC Sports Network will probably be in mainstream cable packages soon; it is in Comcast where I live for example (if you get ESPN you get it).

                            Right; it's one of those things that they renegotiate on a timed basis, so maybe Comcast has it the same while Dish will when they next renegotiate their deals. But NBC is trying to get it promoted to be somewhat of a competitor to ESPN (nobody's ever thought of doing that before, right?).
