Not to usurp Slowwhand's role here, but are we going to consider BAPAYs at some point? We're going along okay so far speed-wise (we've done 2 rounds each of the last 2 days) but we're looking at losing most of today right now.

Hamilton has one-trick-pony written all over him, although one very good trick. I don't believe in his ability to get on base, so won't be taking him in any league this year. After a year, perhaps, or in a keeper league perhaps.

if he can hit, even a little, he'll be valuable in fantasy terms. it's a risky pick and i didn't like him as early as Berz took him but he's got some upside for sure.

That would be a disappointment. Hamilton could average more SB than times on base. He has to get on base enough to play.

Isn't Hamilton a 100 SB type? I think drafting him this early only works out for Berz if he gets something crazy like 70+ SBs.

I'd take the under on 60.

The question with hamilton is OB ability. He's not shown much of that so far, even in the minors he was only sort of okay at it. He stole 2 bases nearly every time he got to first. Only question is whether someone can teach him to just hold the bat on his shoulder and let pitchers walk him to third base.
