Chicago or Dallas, the same goes for any team. I don't want him around here.

I thought Emery wanted "good character" guys. Hope he is over his problems, but now the TE we signed got a DUI. Wonderful.

And Urlacher says he has talked to Minny, Dallas and Arizona. Well, Minny said not at what you want and Dallas said not likely. So his options are running out. You think someone would have picked him up by now if they thought he could play, but most of them probably agree with Vikings.

He wouldn't be MLB in Dallas for sure, not as a starter.

I saw something like this on FB and liked it, so here it is, the Poly version of 'NFL 2013 QB Brackets'! Going to break it down into 4 sections: North, South, West and East. Screw Conferences. They're outdated anyway. Seeding, of course, is my own and is not subject to debate; argue the matchups, not the seeding. Here we go!

          North
          1 A.Rodgers (GB)
          8 C.Ponder (Min)

          5 M.Stafford (Det)
          4 J.Cutler (Chi)

          3 J.Flacco (Bal)
          6 A.Dalton (Cin)

          7 B.Weedon (Cle)
          2 B.Rothlesberger (Pit)

          South
          1 D.Brees (NO)
          8 B.Gabbert (Jac)

          5 Shaub (Hou)
          4 C.Newton (Car)

          3 M.Ryan (Atl)
          6 J.Locker (Ten)

          7 J.Freeman (TB)
          2 A.Luck (Ind)

          West
          1 P.Manning (Den)
          8 D.Stanton (Ari)

          5 A.Smith (KC)
          4 P.Rivers (SD)

          3 C.Kapernick (SF)
          6 S.Bradford (Stl)

          7 C.Palmer (Oak)
          2 R.Wilson (Sea)

          East
          1 T.Brady (NE)
          8 M.Sanchez (NYJ)

          5 M.Vick (Phi)
          4 R.Griffin (Was)

          3 T.Romo (Dal)
          6 R.Tannehill (Mia)

          7 QB Bills (Buf)
          2 E.Manning (NYG)

Are you saying, pick the QB from each match up?

Only the East looks at all difficult to handicap (four top-10 QBs in Brady, Eli, RG3 and Romo).
Easy road to the final 4 for Rodgers, Brees, and PManning in the other regions.

I'll go Stafford, Ryan, Kapernick and, to hell with it..., Romo. I might as well make it a true leap of faith.

Yeah. Just like March Madness, but I'll only make you pick a single round at a time. And when you pick, pick who you think is the better QB, not who you think would win a game.

I agree with JR that it's a silly exercise and also agree with all his picks.

Well, good. The only pick then that either of you disagree with so far is my liking Cutler over Stafford. While stats massively favor Stafford, I still think Cutler is better because he does more with less. All Stafford does is throw it within 12 feet of Megatron and he's golden. Cutler, on the other hand, has been playing for years without a WR1. Sure he had one this year, but he didn't have one the year before when he hoisted the team on his back and nearly singlehandedly forced a win over Stafford Lions. Stafford hasn't shown that he can will his team to a win, regardless if Johnson is playing.

                          Pick No. 20
                          Manti Te'o ILB Notre Dame
The Bears have to replace Brian Urlacher, and they've always done well with players from Notre Dame. Te'o's had a rocky past few months, but I think the issues he faced (the "catfishing," the poor play in the BCS title game and his slow 40 time at the combine) caused him to drop down much lower than he should have.

I don't want Te'o on the Bears but feel it's somehow doomed to happen.

He might be a bargain at that point in the draft, but I still hope they don't take him.
