WHL season ticket holder, and to my knowledge in the history of the league, the players have never been locked out or even threatened to strike.

On the other hand in the No Hockey League (NHL) they do this every few years, just to keep the fans interested

My nephew was telling me about this, he is from here too, but now has the misfortune of living in Calgary. He was quite surprised to go to a Hitmen/Hurricane game and hear the crowd yell "Kootenay Sucks" at regular intervals in the game. Good that we have had such an influence on your team .

As it should be, thankfully they haven't "organized"....yet.
