Umm... Matt Berry, Chris Harris, and everyone else at ESPN says kickers last. I see the same at all other fantasy sites. It's not purely about unpredictability but also because the point difference doesn't matter, even if you precisely predict one of the top kickers.



In our league, the No. 2 and No. 13 were separated by 21 fantasy points so it is just as much true for us as in ESPN standard. Hell, considering that we put up much higher total team points in our league than ESPN, those 21 points over a season actually mean less! In ESPN standard, a good QB will get you about 300 points and an RB will be in the 200's. Our league nearly doubles those, while kickers are about comparable to ESPN standard, meaning kickers matter less in our league.

They say don't even draft a backup TE but if TE is a flex position, consider a second TE.

Last year in an auction league when I got Graham and Hernandez for dirt cheap and then picked up Fred Davis off waivers, I realized TE's can be like WR2's you get real late/cheap.

So what gives with Eagles' QB's not getting many passing attempts (because McNabb sure didn't get many) when Andy Reid is all pass? The Eagles have enough offensive snaps.

Last year, 8th in total snaps, 13th in pass attempts, 12th in rushing attempts, running only 43% of the time.

They say don't even draft a backup TE but if TE is a flex position, consider a second TE.

Last year in an auction league when I got Graham and Hernandez for dirt cheap and then picked up Fred Davis off waivers, I realized TE's can be like WR2's you get real late/cheap.

While this is true enough, you can't play a WR3 and TE2 at the same time. Pick a lane.
