    The vote is 6-5 for smaller benches. Albie has not yet voted.

    Given that, I think we're leaning towards a 16-round draft, but thoughts on a 17-round draft are welcome.

        Done; and I'll vote 16 rounds. HOWEVER, as a nod to those wanting a larger bench, I won't argue if we go 17 rounds.
        I want a premium put on draft picks and moves though, which is why I voted smaller bench.

          My proposed change to an 18-round draft will not be adopted. Our draft will be 12*16 for 192 picks. I expect it to run substantially faster than the previous year's draft, which had 224 picks.

          Last year's draft went from August 4th to August 22nd. (18 days)

          I expect this year's draft to last approximately fifteen days. I would like to start the draft on Monday, August 13th and finish on Tuesday, August 28th - one week from opening night.

                        Why did I look at what? I posted numbers and then days later, I posted names. I didn't go back and look at the numbers. I don't know what my corresponding number is.

                              so who volunteered to run the IDP?

                              I'll be glad to help, or even co-commish

                              I guess we're waiting on Jag's settings but since we're "idp" we'll have our own settings for defense

                              Hopefully we dont cause any imbalances with the offense

                                IDP is not waiting on me. It's a fully independent league that can do whatever it wants.
