yeah, I'm not thrilled with TB allowed but since they dont have SLG against, TB becomes a decent stat - managers loading up on SPs to get QS will tend to lose TB allowed and I really dont like stats that can cancel each other out, but Ks will favor more innings and we do need to favor innings or it can become a RP war - also a minimum IP per week will help prevent that, oh well...

I imagine people will want HRs even if its covered by TBs, I dont have a problem with that even though I agree with Guy about redundant stats.

pitching - QS, Saves, Ks, WHIP, ERA, TB allowed

that covers BBs and hits and extra base hits

hitting - R, HRs, RBIs, SB, OBP, SLG, TB

thats 7 and 6

as usual, the hitting cats are pretty easy, its the pitching giving us a problem

I think I'll send yahoo a suggestion, SLG against would be a good pitching stat

Yea, lets just keep it simple. Hitting & pitching balanced, only 10 total categories, traditional stats, I understand what almost all of them are, win-win-win-win.

I sent my suggestion to yahoo, but I doubt they'd make any changes for this year.

and

and a 3rd option

R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, TB
