If Forte is truly the key on offense, the Bears are in trouble. Matt Forte is a middling RB at best and the way the Packers are moving the ball, the Bears will need to rack up the points.

He's a slightly beefier version of Brian Westbrook -- seldom 100 on the ground, but reliably over 100 total yds. If that's middling, I'll take it.

OK, the D got a stop. Maybe they'll settle down.

Yeah but Westbrook was elusive as hell. Forte is a power back.

And you're underestimating Westbrook. During the 2006 and 2007 seasons, he had 12 100 yard rushing games. Then 3 more in 2008. That's not seldom. It must be remembered that Westbrook had a history of injuries and he always shared carries, first with Duce Staley then with Correll Buckhalter. Even still, 12 100-yard rushing games in his two best seasons (even with Buckhalter who actually started 3 games over Westbrook those years) is nothing to sniff at.

I do not underestimate Westbrook. He led me to multiple FF championships; I love the guy. I'm saying that you underestimate Forte. Different style, but similar usage.

Only 7 100-yard rushing days in 3 years, but he played hurt through most of 2009. Total yards 1700, 1400, 1600 to start his career. Not too shabby.

The offense has been horrible. 33 total yds so far -- 24 on one play.

Cutler's overthrowing consistently. That's the second open TD route he's squandered.
