Rivers is throwing 50 times a game. All to Gates, MRT? Wide receiver is what they're lacking.

So Randy Moss will have a bye after all this year. Damnit. He had two games where he goose-egged as is."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi

Just an observation. I was looking at the TE list and saw two Gronkowskis (NE's Rob and Denver's Dan) and I know Dallas has a RB named Chris Gronkowski. All brothers who came into the NFL either this year or last. Kind of cool for that family.
Though it kind of goes to show you how much genetics plays a role in getting to the professional level in any sport."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi

Huh? Of course if the Mannings were the sons of a lawyer they likely wouldn't be football stars... but that's the point! Archie was an NFL QB so he begot more NFL QB's.
Not to mention the fact that Eli and Peyton are both 6'4". There are definitely certain physical archetypes associated with different positions and those are often linked with height and are genetically determined.
It just seems like everywhere you look, a lot of players are the sons of former players or have brothers in the NFL and I think that's more about genetics than family tradition... family tradition can't make you taller or faster."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi

Explain, Sloww. Eli is faster and more agile than his brother. It's not saying much but he still is. Eli is also listed 12lbs lighter so that also helps.
When do you see Peyton doing **** like this?
Eli scrambles around a good bit. Granted, his brother never has to but can you really even picture Peyton juking defenders?Last edited by Al B. Sure!; November 4, 2010, 02:37."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi

Come on, Al. Call it more brains or call it physical, or both, but Eli doesn't hold a candle to Peyton. Personally, I don't think either one of them has stepped outside their father's shadow. The man had zero to work with, as far as a team.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.
