    • The Ravens nose dive was painful. Absolutely painful. It was like a car wreck in slow motion where you can see it coming a ways off but can't do anything about it.

The Seahawks lived down to expectations. But I'm definitely surprised by the Jets winning over the Pats.

I believe it will be Steelers-Packers in the Super Bowl.

      • If the Packers and Jets win, it would be the first time that two 6 seed teams made it to the Super Bowl

The Sanchize is a playoff QB. Four road playoff wins in two years now.

#6 seeds making the Championship Game is not an every year occurrence.

          • Well... the opening lines show both the Jets and the Bears as three point dogs.

Both #1 seeds losing their first game isn't either.

                  • THe general consensus at the VFW is the hope the Bears win it all.

                    • Wouldn't mind the Pack winning it so that Aaron Rodgers can show up all those who doubted him.

                          • Just for you Bears fans:

With his team in the NFC Championship Game for the second time in five seasons, Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher believes coach Lovie Smith has earned a contract extension.

"I believe he has done a great job here. He's the reason we've won," Urlacher said Wednesday on "Mike & Mike In The Morning" on ESPN Radio. "I think he's been here seven years and this is our second NFC Championship [Game], and it hasn't been that way around here in a long time. There were a few years where we were 7-9, 8-8 and that was good. People were excited about that because it meant we were getting better.

"Now if we're not in the playoffs or the NFC championship people are disappointed, and that's because of him. That's how he makes people believe around here, and that's what he expects out of us. I believe in him. I don't see why he wouldn't get an extension. He's earned it, and I don't want to play for any other coach."
Hear that Donegeal and Co.? GIVE LOVIE AN EXTENSION!!

"I have nothing against Wilson, but he's nowhere near the same calibre of QB as Flutie. Flutie threw for 5k+ yards in the CFL." -Ben Kenobi

                              • Players always want more money for themselves and coaches esp. when they are doing well. Even though I like Lovie, one of the few of Chicago fans here who do, I see no reason to give him extension yet. He will make $5 mil next year and who knows if there will even be a season. So wait until we see how things go next year. No need to rush it.
