Desperation--incomplete down the sideline. There was contact, but no flag. Good no-call, I think, but could've gone either way.

    Final score:

    Boise State 33
    Virginia Tech 30

Wow. I didn't think they'd be able to pull it off.
Considering the remainder of the Bronco's season is pretty much fluff (Oregon State may be #25 now, but who cares, the Broncos will roll over them at home), they're going to go undefeated again. So the debate will be: does beating VA Tech in a squeaker suffice to qualify them for the national championship?

I think that was a one time Nike Combat uni, same as Va Tech. both frigging ugly.

      • Same as TCU. A one-time commitment.

        • I liked the VA Tech uniforms. The Broncos' were just boring.

          • VA Tech's was pretty good. Better than what they usually wear.

Dude, it's OK, you can refer to the Cougars by name. Nobody from Washington State would disagree...

                • Broncos already starting to get first-place votes.

If no one else goes undefeated, then they should absolutely play for the title.

                  • Only team I'd rank ahead of Boise at this point is Alabama. Ohio State's repeatedly failed come crunch time and they'd need to show a lot for me to think they deserve another chance over a Boise team that's never gotten one and whose history shows they deserve one.

5-3 in BCS bowl games, 1-3 in NCGs hardly constitutes repeated failure. And we've only missed at BCS bowl once since 2002

Oklahoma, Florida State, those are your consistent BCS failures.
