College Football 2010: So it begins

Yup, and they looked pretty good doing it. They probably won't be significantly challenged again until they play Utah; I wouldn't be the least bit surprised in the winner of that game finishes 12-0.


Mountain West 2, Pac-10 1. Seriously, every single year, the MWC beats up on the Pac-10. But with Utah switching sides, BYU leaving the MWC, and Colorado moving to the Pac-10 (taking their annual defeat of CSU with them), that trend will end in a couple years.

Least impressive wins of the week: LSU, Oklahoma, Florida, USC.

Luckily, you won't have to. BSU-VT is at a "neutral site" in Maryland; every game on the Smurf Turf should be a cakewalk for the Broncos, with the possible exception of their Sept. 25th game with those pesky Wild Beavers.

Correction; ruled an incomplete pass. DEFCON 4, people, we're at DEFCON 4.

Fresno State is taking it to defending Big East champ Cincinnati, 28-14. They might give Boise some trouble later in the season, although that game will be played in Idaho.
