  • TCU has to be dancing their asses off in front of their TVs.

    • No kidding. Still need Oregon State and/or South Carolina to step up, though.

I swear to Christ, I thought that first kick was good. I'd love to see some different angles on a replay.

      • If Alabama had played the whole game, then TCU might be dancing their asses off.

Now they're guaranteed a Rose Bowl berth. If Oregon or Auburn loses, TCU might still get denied an invite to the NC game.

I feel awful for Boise's kicker. I can't imagine how he could even be in the same room with the rest of the team after that...

              • I did notice that one of the Boise players had to be ushered off the field by a coach after the end of the game because he was spoiling for a fight. Shades of LeGarrette Blount...

                    • Who's playing better?

Oregon? They might be playing just as well, but they wouldn't be able to handle Wisconsins power.
Auburn? They struggled to give a team it's 3rd loss of the season.
Boise St? They shouldn't even be mentioned anymore.
TCU? Give me a break. They'd have lost to OSU, Michigan State and Iowa this season, much less the Badgers.
                      Stanford? Stanford?!?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
LSU? Maybe you can say they are playing as well as Wisconsin if they win this week by more than two scores.

In any case, unless OSU collapses against a barely better than average Michigan team today, Bucky is going to win the Rose Bowl and do so in convincing fashion.

                        • Like I just said, Oregon had to come from behind to beat the #20 team.
Auburn also had to rally to beat a team that has three losses.
Boise State just lost to an unranked opponent.
TCU had a good win against Utah... but that win doesn't look nearly as good now.
And Stanford last good win was against Arizona... who has fallen off the face of the planet.

Badgers would beat any of them at this point.

                            They're still undefeated, unlike Wisconsin.

Nevada was #19 in the AP poll, more highly ranked than Michigan State was when Wisconsin lost to them (which wasn't a fluky loss in overtime, either).

And Stanford last good win was against Arizona... who has fallen off the face of the planet.

Stanford's only loss is to the undefeated #1 team in the country.

Badgers would beat any of them at this point.

Convincing yourself that your team is playing the best football in the country just because they scored some points on Indiana and Michigan is pretty ****ing pathetic. Go play some real competition.

                            • So lets make a bet. Wisconsin has a 99.9% chance of going to the Rose. One of Stanford, TCU, LSU, Oregon or Auburn will most likely be their opponent (I believe... I'm not sure how that is determined) (note Boise St no longer has a shot at the Rose or any BCS bowl for that matter). If you think the Badgers are playing so bad (or not that good), you can have whever they play in the Rose.
