Crap. I hate USC so much.

Florida eeked out a win. Alabama, ditto. Texas thumped Missouri. Should be interesting.

EDIT: You must be joking. Put away the peyote.

Undefeated teams, assuming a Bronco win in Hawai'i, next week will face:

      Alabama, idle
Boise State vs. San Jose State
      Cincinnati at Syracuse
      Florida vs. Georgia, "neutral" site
      Iowa vs. Indiana
      Texas at Oklahoma State
      Texas Christian vs. Nevada-Las Vegas

Texas clearly has the toughest draw next week, heading into Stillwater against an Oklahoma State team that has been quietly rolling over the competition ever since their shocking loss to Houston. I think the Horns answer the bell and win big.

Florida has a rivalry game against a Georgia team that is slightly down this year. Florida has been playing with a fire for a few weeks; I'm going to roll the dice and say this is the week it finally catches up to them.

No other team should face any significant competition.

No, not joking. Texas has beaten a couple of decent teams (Texas Tech and Oklahoma), but has yet to beat a team as good as the Oregon team Boise State vanquished in week one. Ditto Iowa (Penn State), Alabama (Virginia Tech), and Florida (LSU). They win this week, though, things get much harder to stratify.

I'm not even going to debate college ball anymore. I saw it said that I don't know crap about college ball, even though I named a high school player going to college and started halfway through his freshman year and went on to be the number 1 pick in the NFL draft.

Let's just leave it at that. I don't know anything. That will work.
BTW, J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas has a QB that will go pro, but don't believe me because I'm stupid.

It's best not to even ask...

              And nice job Clemson

The Big East also looks like its going to be an interesting 3 team race between Cincinnati (7-0), Pittsburgh (7-1), and West Virginia (6-1). Cincy was especially impressive, as it had to start its backup QB and didn't miss a beat (though they were playing Louisville).

              1) Florida
              2) Texas
              3) Southern California
              4) Alabama
              5) Cincinnati
              6) Boise State
              7) Texas Christian
              8) Oregon
              9) Iowa
              10) Georgia Tech

Except for Texas A&M, of course.

                              No. 6 Iowa 15 (8-0) , Michigan State 13 (4-4)
Iowa is really smoking, aren't they?

                              No. 8 TCU 38 (7-0) , No. 16 Brigham Young 7 (6-2)
looks a hell of a lot more impressive, for example.
