You should've ranked Michigan ahead of Nebraska, just to piss me off.
What about ranking Notre Dame ahead?

We're down to 17 teams. Here I've listed them along with the best team they've beaten.
ACC (0)
Big 12 (4): Texas (Texas Tech), Missouri (Illinois), Kansas (Southern Miss), Texas A&M ()
Big East (2): Cincinnati (Oregon State), South Florida (Florida State)
Big Ten (3): Iowa (Penn State), Michigan (Notre Dame), Wisconsin (Michigan State)
C-USA (1): Houston (Oklahoma State)
Independants (0)
MAC (0)
MWC (1): TCU (Clemson)
Pac-10 (1): UCLA (Tennessee)
SEC (4): Florida (Tennessee), Alabama (Virginia Tech), LSU (Washington), Auburn (West Virginia)
Sun Belt (0)
WAC (1): Boise State (Oregon)
Alabama clearly has "the best win" so far; Boise State, Iowa, and Houston would probably comprise the next tier. Several teams have faced no significant competition to date, most notably Florida. Texas A&M, Missouri, UCLA, Wisconsin, and maybe Kansas fit this description as well.
This week, there are no games between undefeated teams, but there is one game that is almost certain doom for one of them:
Texas A&M vs. Arkansas (Not that Arkansas is that good, but they are more than good enough for the Aggies.)
Other games that look like trouble for undefeated teams:
LSU at Georgia
Michigan at Michigan State
Auburn at Tennessee
UCLA at Stanford
Wisconsin at Minnesota
Less likely to cause trouble, but the potential is there:
Alabama at Kentucky
South Florida at Syracuse
Should cruise:
Boise State vs. UC-Davis
TCU vs. SMU
Iowa vs. Arkansas State
Cincinnati at Miami (OH)
Houston at UTEP
Off:
Florida
Kansas
Missouri
Texas

1. What the hell was Urban Meyer doing in the first place, having Tebow in the game at that point?
2. Boise State has moved into the Top 5 in both polls, and is actually #2 in the Sagarin computer ranking used by the BCS. It is very likely that all the teams currently ranked ahead of the Broncos will lose, while the Broncos continue on to an undefeated season. How high will the pollsters bump them up? If they were any other team, we could expect them to keep rising as teams ahead of them lost; will that hold true for Boise State?

Didn't you know Drake, ND is going to the BCS Championship this year and Clausen is going to win the Heisman.

2 even! Since he'll be that good (or otherwise known as the 2 Heismans Ron Powlus was supposed to have won)

The inane part is, if ND wins out, they will go to the BCS Championship game. They're that ****ing homered into the system.

One of the many reasons I ****ing hate Notre Dame.

Okay, I'm trying to rank teams just based only on what they have done so far this season. For example: yes, Florida is 4-0, but they have yet to play a team that will get anywhere near the top 25. They may very well be the best team in the country, but they haven't done anything yet this season to suggest that is the case...
1. Alabama
2. Boise State (Thank you, Oregon!)
3. Texas
4. Houston
5. Virginia Tech (Holy ****)
6. Cincinnati
7. LSU
8. Florida
9. Oregon
10. Nebraska (! Boy, that last minute loss to VaTech looks good now)
Teams I expect will make (or at least approach) my Top Ten before the end of season include: Iowa (just on the brink as it is), USC, Ohio State, Penn State, TCU, Oklahoma, Miami. Got my fingers crossed, but highly doubtful: Michigan

Why is ND any different than other BCS teams? If a Big 10 team or SEC team loses only one close one, likely they will be in the BCS Championship game too.
But you need not worry about this hypothetical this year as it relates to ND. 3 out of 4 ND playmakers are hurt. Currently, ND's not a very good team. If ND ends up at 11-1, they will have improved rather substantially.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891
Drake, no pollster will ever take Nebraska seriously again after they were burned so badly in 2000-2001.
Since I'm fairly pessimistic about Zach Lee and our chances this year, I would ask why VT is ranked so highly after nearly losing to Nebraska at home...
