Iggy in the 1st round? Interesting. I was thinking 3rd this year.

Kipper's a good pick. Calgary will be VERY tight defensively this year, he'll put up some awesome numbers. I may've even picked him over Luongo if GAA was a stat instead of sv%. He'll get more W than Luongo.

Oh and Mikka was not in my plans at all-- but the early run on the elite goalies plus 22 picks until I go again-- I'm not a huge Mikka fan actually but with the improved D he should have good numbers

I wouldn't characterize it as a run on elite goalies. There's basically 3 elite goalies, and they all went in the 1st round of a 12-team draft. Par for the course.

Frankly I'm stunned Luongo wasn't gone in the top 4 or 5.

Iggy has been good for a while-- I actually had Mikka sort of ahead of Iggy so you can think of him as a second rounder if you want-- My other rankings had Iggy at 11th and 14th among skaters and almost everyone ahead of him in either set were centres.

Ya tough to get wins when playing with essentially an AHL squad-- its also a crowded crease-- you have to figure they did it partly to have trade bait particularly if Dipietro is ever healthy
