Seriously though, the Mountain West should just plunder the best from the WAC to form a conference that may get some serious play as the 6th BCS conference. With the five games, there is room. And Hell, maybe they can pull in another game to be the sixth, if they really wanted to (Peach Bowl or Cotton Bowl [now that it'll be in a great stadium] or whatever).

(New teams in italics)
With the Championship Game to be held at Mile High Stadium in Denver.
I think it could really elevate their chances at being considered. They should get on it

I like the MWC option - gives more teams a shot, there are at least 3 and possibly as many as 5 who at least occasionally would be in the BCS discussion anyway - but imagine if Boise and Utah joined the Pac-10. They could have their championship game then ...
Justforceadmit Notre Dame into the Big 10 to make it 12, and we'd have championships in every major conference that matters in football...

The problem with Boise and Utah joining the Pac 10 is that the rest of the Pac 10 governors, aside from few, want to keep it at 10 programs. In addition, while Utah may pass muster, they'd probably balk at Boise who has really only has football to offer. I think they'd prefer to take in (if they were planning on taking in anyone) Fresno State and Utah.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Well then put in Nevada or something.
I put Hawai'i because it has, by far, the largest endowment of any school in the WAC and has the largest stadium (by far). Money wise, it'd be nice. Which is why BYU is tied for the record for most victories in a season (14), and has the record for most games played in a season (15). Both in 1996.
