Yes, I could see Draco Malfoy in the crowd with his wand casting a spell to make them all fall over.

Asher, that wasn't cheating, it was dumb luck. Not unlike the women's K-1 slalom yesterday.

      WOW! !

Bolt stopped running near the end and still broke the WR. This guy is unreal. If he is not on some really powerful drugs ou course.

Can you imagine what he would have gotten if he was running full tilt throughout?

And I just read that this year was really the first time Bolt ran the 100m. He is a 200m specialist and was doing the 100m on a whim.

How the **** are GB up to third on the medal table now?
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

GB is fifth, AUS is 3rd.

                ACK!

Not if you use the sensible method of ranking countries - by golds, not by total medals... Of course, that would have a rather unfortunate effect on the US position

Wow... after Bolt's 100m run, the Jamaican women SWEEP the 100m dash, winning the gold and two silvers as the 2nd place was a tie. Something in the water there!

A Chinese girl landed the vault on her knees and still got a bronze.

Liu Xiang achillies prevents him from running the 110m hurdles. Big news for China!

Let this be a lesson to the Chinese. Blocking home plate makes baseball a contact sport.

Beaming a guy in the head is not an appropriate response.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891
