              • Why does it matter who the commish is? We've gotten our settings over the years by everyone stating their prefs and finally agreeing more or less on those settings.

                anyway, if you like Koy's settings (yer nuts ) thats 1 vote for Koy's settings and 2 votes for 4 IDP (2DL 2DB) w/return yds and 12/15 rush yds per pt. which is much closer to our past settings

                • I just received a pm from Berz asking me to vote. Since I don't see anything in particular to vote on I'll give my general preferences. I'm not even sure if what I am about to say is already decided or even up for vote but here it goes.

                  I prefer Draft to Auction League.
                  I prefer team Defense rather than 2DB +2DL format.
                  I prefer 10 yds/pt for rushing
                  I prefer 3 or 4 pts for a passing TD as opposed to 6
                  I don't see a need to add (and subtract) points for rushing attempts, completed passes, incomplete passes, solo tackles, assisted tackles, and passes defended. but I guess it's no big deal.

                  • I did think this league was going to use some approximation of last year's settings, or I would've just joined the Jag League. I would've caved and been commish if I had seen Berz's post, but I was offline and Koy jumped in. Which is fine.

                        • I'm fine with last year's settings, by the way, if that's the way Koy wants to do them ... I'm just saying that if he wants to commish and set them himself, I don't argue Ultimately his settings are fine also, and probably just as fun a game as last year's settings.

                          If we had to monkey with last year's settings, i'd change QB yardage to 20 yards/pt, leave rushing alone at 10, or perhaps add in rush attempts (which would then mean dropping rushing to 15 yds/pt, likely). I've never played a rush attempt league, and though I don't think it would help the RB problem overly much, it would certainly be interesting to try.

                              • I'll put in one more bid for return yards to count (as they did last year). Makes several DBs viable, and adds value to offensive players like Burleson and Hester.
