I briefly considered taking Detroit in the same number of games you did, but that seem wrong, especially for a pool that is for nothing more then bragging rights

Still not sure what to make of the finals, I said before it started that I didn't know whether to expect a 7 game battle or a 4 game sweep (meaning I didn't know whether it would be a close series or a wipeout). Having watched the series, I am still not sure what I would call it. First two games Detroit gets two shutouts, seems pretty lopsided. Next 4 games were all pretty close, and could have gone either way. In summary? I suppose it was neither a lopsided series or a close series, but it was closer then I thought it would be after the first two.

Not about Dallas being lousy; I was just trying to make an exception to the so-called Calgary tradition.

As I suggested earlier in one of the threads, I would like to see it be worth more to predict the winner then it is to pick the right number of games (or alternatively worth more to pick the winner & the right number of games then picking the loser and the right number of games).

If I pick correctly pick Philadelphia to beat Montreal but thought I would take 7 games for them to do it, I think it should be worth more then someone who thought Montreal would beat Philadelphia in 5 games if Philadelphia beats Montreal in 5 games. Right now both picks are worth the same number of points which seems wrong to me somehow.
