I watched that game at the Inter Club in London at a mate's wedding reception (he's an Inter fan). We left after the second Juve goal.

WHY SPURZ R KRAP AN NEWCASTLE ARE GRATE!!!!1

It's a ****in crap team that gets taken for 6 points by us this season.

But we can always count on the mighty spudz, whose best player would rather be playing for us.

So this is the "superb result everyone was expecting". It's just a shame they'll come crashing down again soon against a team whose season isn't already over.

            Steven Carr?

It was a good bet. We've now beaten you guys five times in a row. Six points this season, and six points last season. Are you Sunderland in disguise?

I mean, even Derby have taken points off us this season.

              Steven Carr?
Berbatov has expressed his ambition to play for the Toon numerous times. It's his favourite PL club.

We've dropped points against worse teams since the Carling Cup final. I expect half the squad will be gone come the end of the summer if they keep it up.

When his career is winding down maybe.

I don't think so. I think Keegan was right and that your side is on the way up rather than down. A clear out would be ridiculous. Sources tell me that N'Zogbia is probably heading your way this summer. A sad loss, but Oba is going to keep him out of the team for the foreseeable future.

I have no idea why Newcastle manage to dump on you guys more than other teams.

Reliable sources tell me that if Shearer had been appointed manager, he'd be counting down the days until the window opened. He's a big fan of the toon and AS.

Not gone because they want to leave, gone because Ramos has told them to earn their place next season, and none of them seem to be doing a very good job of it.

                    Reliable sources?

Looking at the ambition and potential of both clubs it would clearly be a step down, and insane for a player at his peak. It just doesn't happen at this level.

You have to be joking. Where's your new billionaire owner and 55,000 crowds?

I can see perfectly well why he'd want to play in front of real fans.

I hold no candle for Tottenham, but their fans are real, and they have the second-highest fanbase in London.

Although Newcastle fans have had to endure trophy-less decades, the Totts have had the worse torment of seeing their neighbours scoop 3 doubles and numerous trophies. That's why, when they finally beat the 'Scum' second team in a Beer Cup semi final they celebrated with a special DVD and a mug.

What's the use of a billionaire owner if he's only concerned with his own popularity and wants to sell the club at the first sign of trouble?

Newcastle needs a shake up and rebuilding from the ground up, not more money.

Your "real" fans are just happy to see a few goals it's no wonder the management does nothing about the club's real problems.

Anyone concerned as much about their rivals fortunes as their own is pretty sad IMO.

Every club does it, so why not Spurs? It's just good management.

I don't believe that every club releases DVDs and mugs for a semi-final win in a minor tournament. No way.

If theres a market for it it's just good business sense. What's wrong with that?

Well, perhaps there's nothing wrong in a strictly business sense. A fool and their money are easily parted and all that...

It's the sad desperation that's the poignant part.
