I didn't mention them because Arsenal aren't in danger of winning this season.

Eh? Pav and Bent both have 0.5 goals per game this season, and that's with the sub appearances, changing strikers every game, and the team struggling.

And Defoe has played one game?

We just sold Berbatov and Keane for £50m, (BTW they're on fire), at least the money went back into the team.

Unlike Man City, who have apparently bid £13m for Nigel de Jong despite the fact it is rumoured he has a £1.3m release clause in his contract if the right club come along.

What are they playing at? Football Manager springs to mind, especially as they have Sturridge, Bojinov and Kompany; who along with de Jong were all stalwarts of my all-conquering Newcastle team from FM 2005.
