There's a lot or wailing and gnashing-of-teeth among gooners at the moment about the lack of centre-mid reinforcement. Eboue actually had his best game for us last week against the barcodes, but I'd be surprised if he made it as a CM.

Still, if Denilson can improve and surprise everyone as much as Flamini did last year, things might be ok.

England were better with Walcott in for Beckham, hopefully he'll start against Croatia. Overall average performance, but we got the result.

well I think it's official that you are not nowhere near the worst with Capello anymore... (I see at least a semi-final in South Africa already for you, and closest to repeat of 66 you had since)...

and well we are still OK but - sloppy defending (we have been known for that before too) for the first goal, and than red card early in the second half did us in...

all in all poor defense, and I think we will need to start replacing our 30+ year old Kovac brothers soon it seems... a game too far for them...

LOL...Denmark made Portugal pay for thinking they had won the game after 80 minutes.

Denmark remembered that a match lasts 90 mins - Portugal didn't. Sure, the portuguese were the best side, but their mentality was not with them But what a finish.

Must admit that I am not following Lithuanian football closely. What gives suddenly? Are you going to be a side to reckon with from now on, or has it been two flukes?
