        • Bears will be drafting 14th BTW.
I wasn't all that impressed with Woodson. He's big, I'll give him that. Nice arm strength, but not a quick release. And he seemed to have a real problem with avoiding the rush.

            • I'd prefer Colt Brennan to Woodson... I think he'll be a better QB in the pros, anyhow, and perhaps better right away. But mostly i'd prefer to pick up McNabb for a can of beans and draft OL and RB ... there are some pretty **** good RBs out there that will fall to 14. Maybe Temple will end up in the draft

              • McNabb to the Bears would be a dream come true.

Therefore, no chance it will happen.

After watching Colt Brennan against real competition tonight in the Sugar Bowl, I'd think that anyone that picks Brennan in the first round is an idiot.

                  • Well, it might have helped if his OL could protect him from 3 or 4 rushers.

                    • What, like he would get any more time if he was the QB in a place like Atlanta?

                      • Yes. That right tackle was absurdly awful. I watched with a friend who's a freshman RT in division 3, and he said it's the worst RT play he's ever seen.

                        • Every single play the RT was totally beaten, basically, and the LT wasn't much better ... I watched for about twenty minutes and every time the ends on both sides were either sacking the QB, or within a second or so of sacking him. The LT made the RE go a bit further around at least, generally, but both sides were pretty awful.

If he falls to the 3rd round, perhaps the Bears can pick him then I think he has the intelligence to play in the pros, where you get a bit more protection than that even on horrible teams. He seemed to generally make good decisions, even most of his INTs that I saw didn't seem to be bad decisions but bad bounces or good D play. It's one thing to be a system QB, which he seems to be, but it's another to be a SMART system QB. Tom Brady is where he is because he's **** smart, and has a decent arm; Rex is where he isn't, for the opposite reason (great arm, dumb as ****.) I'd rather have the smart QB...

Isn't he just a sophomore, same as Stafford?
