Packer players were offering "bounty money" to team mates for specific goals. That got stopped. This quote though, it's kind of Yogi Berraish.

Packers defensive end Aaron Kampman said players were trying to put the issue behind them.

"I know all that stuff kind of happened last week, and we haven't heard anything," Kampman said. "It's pretty much all water under the dam."

Supposedly there were direct financial rewards to the D-line for those "specific goals" in two games. I know one was if they held Adrian Peterson under 100 yds. (Peterson got hurt and finished with 40-some). Can't remember the other.

This is very specifically against NFL rules.

Ok, I am not disagreeing hewre my friend, but don't some teams offer incentives for"X" Tackles, "X" Forced Fumbles or other defensive specific deeds?

I personally dont se why but again, I dont need to since I am not in the NFL....

I could understand if a reward was given for "Taking out" an opposing player (Injuring)

Thanks for help clarifying, as my Vicodin is just starting to go to work...so might be I am feeling real warm and smooth, but cannot fathom why NFL would not allow personal incentives from a team to its players?
