I gotta admit, I gave them no chance until Favre threw it to Urlacher. Kudos to the Bears for hanging tough, FINALLY forcing some turnovers, and then knocking down the big play when they had to have it.
BONUS: Favre ties the career INT record on the final hail mary.

The more I watch the Bears, the more convinced I am that the core problem on offense isn't the QB selection, it isn't Benson, and it isn't the play-calling. While all those things (plus a high number of dropped passes) are contributing factors, the core problem is that the Chicago offensive line simply isn't very good.
Their pass protection is pathetic and they can't run-block. I don't care who is at the skill positions, I don't care what scheme is being run -- if you can't block, you won't succeed.
What I've said for the last month. The Pack did a good job in helping the Bears win tonight. Even with the turnovers, they still could've won if they didn't have so many penalties. The Bears still have a lot to work on.

The penalties certainly helped ... The turnovers I credit to the Bears as much as to the Pack. We go for strips on every tackle, and the cover-2 gets INTs like Urlacher's as a matter of course - giving up those middle balls up the seam instead.
That 340 yard first half was bad, but at the same time it showed the traditional bend but don't break Bears D - allowing yards but not points.
And at least we only had 1 turnover ... that's the raelly good news to me.

Yes, the Bears still have a lot of work to do. But now they are in position to do so. If they had lost last night, their season would pretty much have been over. There is still time for them to do something this year now. Hopefully, they will figure it out. They are home against the Vikings this week, on the Road to Philly the next, and then have a home game with the Lions.
All three of those games are very winable.
Especially if Philly's O-line is still as porous as it was against NY ... Osi may be a pass rushing god, but if he is, we've got his son in Mark Anderson
If their LT is still out, I could see 5-6 sacks from him alone
