It's not really Grossman, at least not entirely. The Cowboys shut down the Bears running game. Most QB's aren't nearly as good when they HAVE to pass.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

I could go into a long analysis and point at the various contributing factors in this home debacle.
But I'll keep it simple: Bears = pwned.
Cowboys are anointed the front-runner in the NFC. They played well. And it looks like The Curse Of The Super Bowl Loser is alive and well.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

They'll meet again in NFC Playoff. I don't see anyone else seriously in the running.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Well, Green Bay is 2 games up on the Bears after tonight. They and the Cowboys are the only undefeated NFC teams.Originally posted by SlowwHand

Green Bay is this year's New Orleans.

Favre, so far, is the only QB succeeding without a running game. That won't last.
He'll be compared with Marino over more than just TD passes. Super Bowl appearances.
Which reminds me, at nfl or espn or somewhere there was a poll. Which is most important, Yards, TD's or Wins?
I voted wins. TD's was leading the poll, pretty handily.

That's gracious of you, Sloww. But everyone in the league saw this, and opponents will be smelling blood. The Bears will be fortunate if they make the playoffs. Their best hope (like Seattle last year) is that they play in a weak division. But that, too, seems to be changing.Originally posted by SlowwHand

The thing that ticks me off the most is that I have to stay away from sports talk radio this week. Hopefully the Cubs will provide some welcome relief from all the "lynch Rex" blather.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

The Bears had given up 24 points over two games before tonight. My guess is they have a gut check early in the season and reach down and pull out the will.
I'd take bets on it. Bears are good. I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it.
They have defense and a what I think is a good RB. They'll build on those things.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Yep. They are looking very good. The defense is Green Bay is very good and Farve is looking like he's the Farve of the mid 90s again. They will be a playoff team. Though I don't think they'll replicate New Orleans' record. They may win the division thoughOriginally posted by Tuberski

Cowboys are the class of the NFC right now. The Eagles, after their performance today seem like they can turn it around and make a run. Green Bay looks good for the North as of now, with Chicago having a shot at the division or WC. Either Seattle or San Fran out west (I think Seattle) with perhaps the loser in the WC (or the Giants), and then eeesh... of Tampa and Carolina whichever one sucks less.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. I think both Bucs & Panthers fans would find that a demeaning and insulting comment. Especially Bucs fans, who have followed up an opener against Seattle which they were in until the mid-fourth quarter with two strong home performances. Plus, there's still time for the Saints to turn things around. The NFC South ain't chopped liver.Originally posted by Imran Siddiqui

Still, if we can come out of Bank of America next week with a win, it would go a long way in asserting a top heavy stance over our division. And any injury trouble Steve Smith might have - while inheritably regrettable - can only help our chances.CGN | a bunch of incoherent nonsense

Well, consider yourselves demeaned and insulted then. Both teams, as well as the rest of the division sucks balls. It's an absolute mess, as the worst division in the NFC usually is. But, unfortunately there is no 2006 Chicago Bears, which at least was one bright spot for last year's NFC North.Originally posted by reismark

And, for God's sakes, the Panthers' Defense made Joey Harrington look like an NFL Quarterback. Joey Harrington!!“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another.
